ficus are great, philadendran family, or the tall thin palms for indoors. and of course good ol bamboo you can have as little or as many as you would like and come in various sizes. the cats is going to get in the dirt especially if you have them on the floor try the cat repellant right when you introduce them into your home maybe this will help keep the cat away from the begining kinda like training a puppy. you can try to grow some cat nip from the pet stores that could help as well. I want to get a few house plants, big ones. I need plants that grow in low light %26amp; are ok for cats. Ideas?

Reply:Humm, Im not sure about the okay for cats, but some good house plants that get big and can tolerate low light are peace lillies. They can get really big. Some smaller but fuller ones are the pothos, philodrendrons, peperonias and the umbrella plant. Norfolk pines are fun too and they can get big.
