Can I have house plants in a bedroom?

Of course you can. Many people have plants in their bedroom. They tend to provide a sense of warmth to the room.

Good luck with your indoor plants.

Can I have house plants in a bedroom?
yes why not? they give off oxygen and they look beautiful in any room.
Reply:Yes you can, plants give out oxygen so thre is no reason why you can′t have them in your bedroom. They make the room look so pretty too.
Reply:Of course you can!

If your worried about the whole photosynthesis thing then don't be - it doesn't affect u!
Reply:Yes but it isnt recommended as plants take in oxygen during the night and carbon dioxide during the day, so i suppose one or two wont hurt just dont create a jungle bedroom could affect your sleep
Reply:Well, I've got quite a few in mine, the bedroom window gets the best light. Apart from a few greenflies around my earlobes, it doesn't seem to do me any harm.

I think you must have heard stories about nurses removing flowers from the wards at night - I don't actually know whether they still do it. This stems (!) from the fact that plants take in carbon dioxide during the day and give out oxygen whereas, at night, the reverse occurs. As your bedroom is probably not a totally enclosed and airtight biosystem, I don't think this will apply to you.
Reply:Only if your mommy says you can darling.
Reply:I think it would make a beautiful addition. A really great idea, especially for a south facing window.
Reply:Yes but you can't have bedroom plants in a house
Reply:Cacti are nice.
Reply:yes no harm to you
Reply:you can grow plants anywhere.

it is healthier to be around them than not
Reply:As long as you have a window for light and you don't forget to water it a plant will be wonderful in your bedroom. When you buy the plant check out the tag and it will tell you what kind of light it needs to grow.

And I'd like to correct Sarah C. Plants absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen all of the time; they don't switch off morning and night. Sorry Sarah, I hope I haven't offended you.
Reply:I presume your bedroom is in your house?

- Shouldn't be a problem then!
