Are there any house plants safe for dogs to eat?

So I have a 5 month old puppy and I really want to add some live plants to our living room but I know she will try to eat some of the leaves or trunk and there will probably eat some of the plant when I have my back turned. Are there any live house plants that would be alright if she got a hold of? I know there are TONS of plants that are poisonous to dogs. I don't need a live plant but I would like one so any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

When your out shopping for the plant ask one of the attendees for assistance. They should know which ones can harm your dog. I have a few large plants and 3 dogs. I got small tables (tv folding little tables) and some fabric to cover them to match my living room and placed the plants on them.
Reply:Why not decorate with veggies? Seriously. Carrots have a nice fern like appearance, Cucumbers climb and have broader leaves etc.
Reply:Those cat grass bowls are great. It will make him happy to be able to have greenery he can chew on, as well as distracing away from your plants. Try removing the plants when you 1st introduce it, and put it back in in a few days when hes gotten a liking for the grass, and once hes old enough, hell get over the whole chewing thing.
Reply:Houseplants should be kept up high, or in rooms where your pets are not allowed--many can be toxic to dogs. Do some research on the types of plants you have, even in your yard, that may be toxic, and take steps to prevent your dog from eating them. Azaleas, oleanders, mistletoe, Easter lilies, and certain types of palms can be fatal if ingested.
