Will putting lots of indoor plants in my house give me more fresh air (oxygen), benefits, etc.?

You might get more fresh air but don't look to grow bigger and taller from it. It takes a jungle to supply a lot of oxygen You might feel better because you surrounded yourself with beauty

Will putting lots of indoor plants in my house give me more fresh air (oxygen), benefits, etc.?
The increase in oxygen supply will be far too small to even measure. The psychlogical effect however, may be large. Also, there are in fact, certain plant which can filter out certain pollutants, like cigarette smoke. Spider plants come to mind, although this may be another urban myth. In any case, it's still cool to have lots of WELL MAINTAINED foliage. hint hint
Reply:I have a large area and also window sills full of plants and also my bedroom with ferns. they do help, somewhat. I like the green, peaceful mood , they present, they do need humidity and I live in the desert and water them a lot and keep a low humidifyer going. I do not get bugs etc. in my home.
Reply:Absolutely, yes. They also help rid the house of toxins.
