What is a good house plant? - trying to replace palm majesties...?

I don't have very good luck with Palm Majesties, they are always getting invested with something - but I absolutely love them. What is a good alternative house friendly plant?

Some idiot-proof plants are philodendrons, aloe vera, dracaena, jade, and cacti. Maybe you'd be better off to go to a local L%26amp;G Center and learn how to take care of your palm since you love them. They take a little pampering but they are not an impossible house plant.
Reply:For close to a window that does not get any sun or set back from a bright window try Ferns, Ficus pumila, Fittonia, Hedera Helix, Philodendron scandens, Sansevieria.
