One of the biggest mistakes people make with house plants is to arrangement them the way the person wants them, rather than put them in the place that is best for the plant. I would first find a spot where I want to put a plant and then buy the plant that will do well in that spot, for example, some plants like direct sunlight, others do better in diffused light.
