How do i get rid of black flies i brought a plant in the house and it contamanated the the rest of my plants?

Do they alsways stay on the plant? If they land on other surfaces in addition to the plant they sound like fungus gnats or shore flies. They result from overwatering. You have to spray for adults and let the soil dry completely out between waterings to try to kill the larvae in the pot/soil.

Reply:stick pads. Those fruit flies are really nasty. stick pads are the only way to catch them.
