Just I went to this shop called Notcutts. I saw this plant underwater.

Peace lilies can grow with their roots in water. They are not going to last long completely underwater in a tank.

There are plants sold in aquarium shops that are intended for terrariums. Aquarium hobbyists sometimes mistake them for true aquarium plants, and after a few days in their tanks find that the plant is NOT doing well.

But they look great.... at first!

There are also aquarium plants that are similar in appearance to the peace lily that can survive completely underwater. These sometimes grow partially out of the water.
Reply:Because they can be grown underwater also
Reply:Cathy house plants do not grow in fish tanks, they grow in glass vases without fish. Adding a huge peace lily to a fish tank will take up a lot of surface area to lead to problems for the fish.

If you want to add plants to your fish tank, use aquarium plants, which you can pick up at any fish shop.
