House plants watered with flat beer?

when i make my own beer (5 gallons at a time) i dispose of the old yeast in my lawn. it doesn't seem to hurt it.

House plants watered with flat beer?
On purpose or in an effort to ditch some evidence?

A little will not hurt. The problem with continual watering with beer are two fold:

(1) Beer is slightly alcoholic and ethyl alcohol has a tendency to dry out the very fine hair like roots making it harder for the plant to absorb water.

(2) Beer contains some simple carbohydrates which will invite molds and other organisms to grow in the soil.

So for an occasional treat, no big deal. As a routine regimen, it may not be too wise.
Reply:i dont know but i will take the points ...thank you
