Any suggestions on keeping my 10 month old puppy out on my house plants? he only does this when we go away.?

try either putting the plants up high out of reach or u can try crating him.

Any suggestions on keeping my 10 month old puppy out on my house plants? he only does this when we go away.?
Either put the plants up, crate the dog or you can try red pepper sprinkled in the plants. Let him sniff some so he knows the smell equals nasty stuff.
Reply:Make sure he can't get into them by either putting the plants out of reach or the puppy in a crate or separate room. You can also enrich your puppy's environment with Buster Cubes, Kongs, etc. A dog walker might help as well. Basically, the puppy is in your plants because it has nothing better to do and finds this rewarding, and there is no one to tell the puppy that the behavior is inappropriate. You won't stop it without training and you can't train when you aren't there. So, control of the environment is the solution.
