yes they have to be watered A LOT make sure the soil or what ever is always wet and put'em in a window sill theyll be fine

About 3 main types you may have: Kentia, Areca, Bamboo. Each likes to not dry out completely. Areca gets lots of spider mites and bugs. They don't need direct sun just light close by.
Reply:Bamboo is a weed and therefore does not need alot of sun. Just good lighting will be fine.



Bamboo grows best in water, not soil. The best way to keep your bamboo healthy is to place it in a pot with lots of little rocks. You must ALWAYS keep water in the pot. Let the water level reach the top of the rocks and make sure it stays that way.
