They end up crawling out and they die and dry up.
Has anyone ever tried putting red worms in a larger planter with house plants. Any thoughts?
That sounds cruel for the worm. Like all living things, they need food.
Of course, if you plan on adding decomposing matter regularly to feed it, then that may not be a bad gig for it. You house would smell, but at least you'd have happy worms.
Reply:Red worms need a constant supply of organic material to eat. A house plant container will not sustain them.
