How do i kill aphids on house plants, and garden plants, naturally?

Well ladybirds naturally eat aphids in droves so if you can get a load of ladybirds then that's your best shot.

How do i kill aphids on house plants, and garden plants, naturally?
put some dish soap in a sprayer and spary the plants.

let it let a minute and then rinse it with water.

now, this is the fun part. lady bugs, lady bugs, lady bugs.

they eat aphids.

you can get a bunch of lady bugs from your local gardener.

good luck!
Reply:Here's what I do: (and it is a combination of everyone else's suggestions, plus one).

I take a couple of full ash trays (yes, alas, I am a smoker...) and I empty them in a plastic mixing bowl. Then I add hot water, a Tablespoon of dish soap (to act as a surfactant) and then about a Tablespoon of Epsom Salts.

Here are some links from Mother Earth News that may help you out, in case you have no access to tobacco....lol

Here's one formula:

Soak three ounces of chopped garlic in two teaspoons of mineral oil for 24 hours. Slowly add a pint of water dissolved in 1/4 ounce of oil-based soap (such as Palmolive), and stir well. Store in glass to prevent reaction with metals. Use one part to 20 parts of water to begin with, then 1 to 100 thereafter. Apply as a spray to foliage. Also, try evenly dispersing garlic plants throughout your whole garden. (http://www.motherearthnews.com/library/1...

(I had a bad problem with aphids on my newly planted apple trees, and used the tobacco spray with excellent success...)

Happy Gardening!
Reply:I believe you can spray soap water on the plant. Just mildy soaped with dish soap, and that will kill them.
Reply:Yep, a mild soap (dishwashing detergent)/water mix will do the trick.
Reply:Buy a pack of smokes.

Rip them up and poor the tabacco into a glass jar.

Add water.

Set the jar in the sun for a day.

this will make what is known as Tabacco Tea.

put it in a spray bottle.

then spray your plants .

the avids will die.

unlike soap which is not natural.
Reply:Lady Bugs love to eat them. The are very inexpensive and stay were the food supply lives. Your lady bugs will come refrigerated, which causes them to sleep. Place your lady bugs in the problem area at night. When they wake up they will be ready to eat.
Reply:spary water.
Reply:They have natural (soap based) inscticides that will work...
Reply:chruch neem trees leaves and extract all the juice and spray it to the leaves its non-chemical and it kills the aphids
Reply:You can mix soap powder with water and spray your plants with that. It is sure to kill the aphids.
