Make sure you take a list of the plants the dog ate!!

Call them FIRST some plant toxins are not common and your vet would not know off the top of their head and they would need to contact someone else to find out. This is much faster.

Reply:Ummmm... vet now! If they are closed, you better get to the emergency vet. He is having a toxic reaction to the plants... you need to let them know what type of plants and if there were any chemicles on the plants.

Reply:Take him to a vet immediately and don't let him eat grass. Some dogs can't digest plants, epically small dogs. And if you use fertilizer or pesticides, even if you don't use them on your lawn and just your garden, they run off into your lawn and can be highly toxic. Make sure your dog is eating regularly and drinking lots of water.
