Cats love greens, my cats graze on many of my plants too, buy them some kitty grass from the pet store, it comes with a container and seeds, plant ,water and grow, your kitties will love it.. it sprouts in a just a few days ....
Reply:Try buying/growing some cat grass. If your cats are indoor ones, they are missing out on chewing grass. The plants are a substitute.

Have linked to one of many websites which sells/gives information.
Reply:Here is a list of toxic plant to cats.

Reply:try a sour apple spray from a pet store, its safe for plants and cats don't like the taste, warning it does not taste like sour apples, i know.
Reply:If this is what you do every year, you may want to install some free floating shelving that your cats cannot reach. Even if the plants are not toxic to cats, they can still get into the dirt and even pee or poop in some of the larger pots.

You can also hang some plants from the ceiling. I am planning on doing this with catnip because it wouldn't last more than a minute on the counter.
Reply:If you go to a pet store, or even K-Mart, they sell a cat spray deterent. It stinks a bit but it works. I used it on my X-mas tree.
Reply:Check that list given by The Mist. It is a good thing to know what plants you have and if they are harmful to the critters in your residence. The spray should work or as we do at my house we spray the cat with a water bottle when it misbehaves and gets in the plant. You just have to do it when the cat is in the plant not just after you find the plant destroyed as they won't know why you sprayed them. Good luck and happy holidays.
