My friend and I are talking on the phone and we were wondering if the ashes from an incent would hurt a house plant. Does anyone know??

It might, depending on the plant. For example, pepper plants are very sensitive to nicotine and smokers shouldn't handle the foliage. But, most plants don't really mind. In fact, they will help clean up the air from the incense (suck up CO2 and give off oxygen).
