hmmm... i believe there is a home depot close you or target .. umm.. since you live in BKLYN.. I'm sure some your neighbors can give you some cutting from their plants.. ;)
if you ask nicely .. I'm sure those older ladies will share their plants with you it.... is definitely the cheapest way to go..;)
P.S..
I'm not being a smarty by saying or suggesting that .. I'm from where you are and i know that there are lots of ladies who have tons of house plants and are always more than willing to share them just to help the ones they have grow better..
so again ask Some of them ;) and you might be surprised
