Something is eating my house plants? What can I do without hurting the plant?

it could be aphids so u can buy lady bugs that eat the aphids...im pretty sure u can get them from a garden store

It depends what's eating them, after you figure that out you can look for something to get rid of that particular bug. If you have any pets that might eat it, put a small mesh fence around it, if it's snails surround the area with broken egg shells
Reply:Get a spray bottle, liquid Ivory soap. Add 2 tablespoons of soap and the rest water. Gently spritz plants from under leaves not over leaves. You can buy expensive store/name brand indoor plant pesticides but why if this old home remedy works just as well if not better. Plus it is safer for household environment if you have children or pets.
Reply:I use Sevin dust on all my plants for insects.
Reply:I have had that same problem before. I have always used Ortho rose %26amp; flower insect killer. It will not harm your indoor plants, but will definitely kill the bugs. You can get it at any home store (Ace, Home Depot, Lowes, etc). You can also use it on your plants outside if you'd like.
