Why do house plants need fresh air ???(an open window)?

They need BOTH carbon dioxide(CO2) and oxygen(O2). And some sunlights, of course.

When plants are under lights and photosynthesis is going on, they are using the CO2 to make carbonhydrates. When at night or in the dark, they use O2 and pump out CO2. The chemisty is just like animals breathing.

So for both of your good and the plants, open the window often for them! But if you forget for just a few days, they'll be alright, and so will you!

Why do house plants need fresh air ???(an open window)?
because they need lots and lots of oxygen!!!!
