I am looking to buy a nice looking house plant (some sort of tree perhaps?) that has a very long life (I'm talking years and years and years!) Does anyone have any suggestions.
I am looking for a house plant that has a long life?
im not sure of the name..but i have one..it has nice dark green leaves.and it flowers once a year with a white flower.it may be some kind of lilly.i think its the peace lily.not sure.but i can tell you this has lasted over 10years.it has outlasted a toddler pulling leaves off..it has lasted through lots of holidays we have been on.
Reply:corn plant, some palms, weeping fig no plant will last years if its not cared for properly.
Reply:contact the RHS and they will give you lots of idears
Reply:A centrally heated room ? Near a window ? A dark room ? A very light room? A plant room or conservatory ? The "life" of anything, including trees, depends on the environment available to it. It is not possible to suggest anything when situation is unknown. Sorry.
Reply:How many times are you going to ask this?
Reply:I would go for an Ivy...they grow as large as you let them and they are farley easy to keep alive!
Good Luck!
Reply:rubber tree. no, i'm serious, it's not fake, it's a real tree. or a fern. or those big ones you see in the waiting room at a doctors office...
Reply:This question is so good you asked it three times!
