How do u keep a cat from diging in the house plants?

Wrap the base of the plant (the top of the pot where the soil is) with tin foil. This is the best solution because it is neither harmful to the cat or the plant. It is very effective because when the cat jumps into the potted plant the tin foil makes a sound that scares the cat. This will keep the cat not only from the soil, but will scare him enough to keep him away from the plant all together. Make sure to poke a few tiny holes into the tin foil so that when you water the plant, it can go through. And you don't have to worry about the tin foil hurting the plant because plants receive the sunlight through their leaves, which are located above the soil. After about a week and a half, you should be able to uncover the base of the plant without having to worry about the cat wanting to get into it. It worked for me. Good Luck.

also hate vinegar-rub the pots with it
Reply:put orange peels in the pot. they hate the smell of citrus. You can also use stay away spray that you can get at any pet store and even wal-mart
Reply:This may sound cruel, but it doesn't hurt them, well not for ling, red pepper. It wont hurt your plants but you cat will hate it. It is also good to use in out door bird feeders, will not bother the birds, squirrels hate it. (Occasionally squirrels acquire a taste for it. So I suppose a cat could too.)

God Bless
Reply:sprinkle some chilli pepper on the dirt. get a squirt gun
Reply:lemon juice ...cat repellant [ at your local pet/ wal-mart store] if you are around all day, water bottle put on stream when it goes near the plants to dig give him a squirt..stops after a few sprays...mine even sees me pick up the bottle runs...lol
