How can i stop my dog from destroying my house plants?
Put a barrier of some sort between the dog and the plants, or put them out of the dog's reach.
Reply:Give him rid once in a while then he used to remember it when he's trying to destroy your house plants then he didn't go there at all.
Reply:they make a product called Bitter Apple. you spray it on the stuff you dont want your dog to chew cuz it tastes bad to them. im pretty sure its plant friendly.
Reply:Put the plants in a certain room by themselves and shut the door. That way your dog cannot get in there.
Reply:Take cyanee pepper and put it around your plants they'll learn.
Reply:Use a leash for your dog. Its the equivalent of a restraining order in the dog world. Hehe
Reply:if he is chewing/eating them i used to spray something nasty tasting on them for my dog, like vinegar. something that wont harm the plant.
Reply:Put them up out of his reach.. Some plants are very toxic.. I look at it this way, we child proof for our childrens safety, we need to do the same for our pets...

If you have large floor plants, get corner plant tables and place on top of those...
Reply:Beat him with a newspaper...he will surely not be hurt but it will make him understand that u dont like him doing tht...or if he understands wht u speak then just say 'no'...
Reply:get apple bitter spray. spray it on anything u don't want your dog to bite. its totally safe, it just tastes nasty. pretty good deterrent.
Reply:Put the houseplants up where the dog can't get to them...some house plants are extremely toxic to dogs..
Reply:there is a spray you can buy made by hartz called nono it is a purple and white can. it gives off an unwanted scent and it last for 24 hours after a couple of days he will get the hint and stop or you can crate him he can not eat what he can not reach
