Do you have fake plants in your house or real ones?

..if fake, is it because you can't keep real ones alive? Even though i love to garden, I can't grow indoor plants to save my life!

Reply:Its best to have fake ones in the house because they last longer, real ones die too quickly and then you have to go out spending money on new ones. Also you can get really pretty fake flowers - good luck.

Reply:try indoor cacti, boring yes, but almost impossible to kill.
Reply:I have real ones, but they're all easy-care types that I can't kill. I have a Christmas cactus that started as a cutting from my grandmother's plant. The mother plant now lives with my aunt (my grandmother has been gone for awhile, now) and is more than 70 years old. My "daughter" plant is thriving, too (but is only around 20 or so.)
Reply:I dont have any plants in my house, cuz I used to have live ones, but I couldnt keep'em alive and I hate fake ones - I think that's a bad taste to have fake ones, so I prefer not to have any. And how do you think you can save your live by growing indoor plants? Huh?

Reply:my study is like a green house, full of plants and they are doing very well .you have to remember to water them and a dose of plant food now and then , also they need sunlight some not as much as others !

Reply:Both, but more fake then real. I seem to kill plants w/o much effort. Besides who wants to find someone to water plants when you leave town!!
Reply:real ones and they're huge, find out whats easy to grow and don't water too much, sometimes you just got to leave them alone. Sorry I don't know the names offhand but a nursery worker should be able to tell you whats easy to grow or maybe someone in here will help you.
