What can I use to stop a dog from coming onto my property and urinating on corner of house and on plants etc?

if possible would like some household product that I could use which is enviromentally friendly,thankyou.

Put bleach on areas that the dog visits. It will repel it.

Reply:this may sound wierd But fil some milk bottels with tap water and put them around the area that you do not want the dogs in.

but for a cheaper way I suggest calling the dog pound next time! The owner can only get the dog back if they pay to get them fixed which will control his territorial ways!
Reply:Shoot it!! then put in the compost heap and voila, environmentally friendly compost. JOKING!!! use pepper spread out over the area where it accesses your property.

Reply:I'm not sure if you are familiar with liquid fence or not, it an environmentally friendly produce used in general to keep rabbits out of your garden, but they do have formulations for dogs and cats as well.



Basically its the essence of rotten eggs plus a whole bunch of other stinky stuff. It smells bad for a few hours after you apply it, but then the smell dissipates to a level below the human nose's capability to detect. It works so well because animal's noses are much more sensitive, so even though it doesn't smell bad to us anymore, it still smells terrible to them.



I can't vouch for how well the dog formulation works, but I know that the garden formula works miracles.

Reply:Obtain a high frequency modulator and hook it up to a stereo, while you can't hear it, the sound will drive any dog or cat away from its proximity (as long asa you have no cats or dogs of your own.)
