Spider plants and Pothos (devil's ivy) don't need a lot of direct light; I have a pothos in my office that gets ZERO natural light but thrives regardless.

Reply:Any form of Peace Lilly will work. They've got gorgeous green foliage and nice white blossoms.

I have a bunch of them in practically no light - they do beautifully.
Reply:Mother in Laws tongue and ferns are great in low light.
Reply:So-called lucky bamboo, which isn't really bamboo at all, seems to be able to function with almost zero light.
Reply:Sanseveria, also known as mother-in-laws tongue and snake plant seems to be able to exist with very little light.
