Questions about ivey house plants?

well I just got an ivey plant, and its hanging .....are they hard to keep alive? (im not so good at keeping plants alive) my apartment is VERY sunny all the time.. is that good? how much should I water it?.. thanks!!

Ivy plants are very easy to keep alive. They like the shade but also like the sun. My ivy grows much faster in direct sunlight. You don't have to water them much. I water mine once every 4 or 5 days. You can tell if it needs more water if you feel its soil dry. You are overwatering it if you feel see pools of water. Ivy leaves can become dry. Try taking a spray bottle, once every 2 weeks, and spraying the leaves of it. If it becomes out of control, too long etc, you can cut them and they will grow back.
